Illustrating the close connections between Muslim Brotherhood organizations in the U.S., the website of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) has announced a panel for the September conference of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). The subject of the panel is “Islamic Jurisprudence for Minorities: ‘Fiqh al Aqaliyyat’” and scheduled speakers are Jamal Barzinji, one of the founders of IIIT, Muzammil Siddiqi, past President of ISNA and member of the FIqh Council of North America (FCNA), and Mohammed Al-Hanooti, a FCNA member identified by the FBI as a participant in a 1993 Philadelphia meeting of “senior leaders of HAMAS, the Holy Land Relief Foundation and the Islamic Association of Palestine. ISNA and FCNA are important components in the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and documents released in the ongoing terrorism financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation have illustrated the close association of Hamas with the U.S. Brotherhood.
