The website of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), a part of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood, has announced that a group of some 80 “scholars, researchers, activists, government officials, and administrators as well as IIIT officials and staff” that IIIT has worked with in the past year recently gathered for a dinner to end the Ramadan fast at the IIIT headquarters. The group included representatives from the FBI and the Virginia State Assembly, as well as leaders of other U.S. Muslim Brotherhood organizations such as the Muslim American Society, the Islamic Society of North America, and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Also attending was the President and a board member of the International Center of Religion and Diplomacy (ICRD), an organization with whom IIIT has partnered in the past as described in previous posts.
