The International Islamic News Agency has reported on the recent visit of Muslim Brotherhood affiliated Bosnian Grand Mufti Mustaf Ceric (aka Mustapha Taseerich) with the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah Al Turki at the MWL headquarters in Mecca. According to the report:
They reviewed issues pertaining to the dialogue between Muslims and others as well as cooperation between the MWL and the Islamic Authority in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Taseerich highlighted the role of Saudi Arabia in holding high the banner of Islam as well as its dialogue with non-Muslims.
Previous posts have report on the possible involvement of Dr. Ceric in the diversion of Saudi funds intended for Bosnian war victims to the creation of an Islamic bank and on his recent meeting in Sarajevo with officials of the Saudi World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) on the occasion of the 600th anniversary of Islam in Bosnia. Dr. Ceric is tied to the Muslim Brotherhood through his membership in the European Council for Fatwa and Research, the theological body led by global Brotherhood leader Youssef Qaradawi. Both the MWL and WAMY are important Saudi organizations serving the propagation of “Wahhabi” Islam throughout the world. Muslim Brothers played an important role in the creation and operation of both organizations.
